Summary:
ICAP is a private, non-profit agency mobilizing private and public sector resources to help low and moderate-income people improve their living conditions.
The HCV program is designed to provide housing assistance to moderate and low-income households.
The Administrative Assistant position provides professional, executive level support for the HCV Program Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent required One year of office support experience preferred.
Background in housing programs helpful.
Plus Consent to and successful review of a Limited Criminal History background check.
Must possess a valid driver's license and must consent to and successfully pass a Bureau of Motor Vehicles license review.
Must have reliable transportation and vehicle liability coverage.
DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/
Responsibilities:
Perform all services as directed by the HCV Coordinator.
All services are to be completed emphasizing excellent customer service.
Communicate effectively with tenants, landlords, program staff, and the community.
Provide clerical support for HCV program.
Manage multiple tasks, completing in a timely manner Attend all required HCV Program trainings/staff meetings.
Engage in individualized professional development opportunities as well as program based and agency-wide training activities.
All other duties as assigned.

Practice high standards of professional behavior that align with HCV Progam and ICAP values and mission.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to gather and analyze data and make concise, accurate reports and recommendations.
Respectful of program customers and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Be personable and well groomed with the ability to speak clearly and convey information in plain language.
Work well independently and as a team member cooperating with department and agency staff, general public, customers and program vendors.
Must be well organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize numerous responsibilities for timely task completion, be self-directed, highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic and dependable.
Compliant with ICAP's Professional Conduct code and Confidentiality policy as outlined in the Personnel Policies Handbook.
Can accept supervision and direction with a positive attitude.
Must be detail oriented, complete reports, and all paperwork efficiently, accurately and timely.
General administrative skills and abilities are needed including basic computer skills and knowledge of computer software such as MS Word, Excel, and ability to learn key websites and other program specific software.
Troubleshooting and extensive problem solving skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
Adaptable to a variety of job requirements and situations required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary working environment is a climate controlled office setting.
Must be able to climb stairs, bend and stoop, and lift 25 pounds.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
